MS DHONI RETIREMENT

MS Dhoni To Announce Retirement? Cryptic 'My Captain' Tweet By Chennai Super Kings Sends Fans Into Frenzy

MS Dhoni has been in one of the best phases of his career, with the legendary Indian wicketkeeper-batsman leading Chennai Super Kings to their 5th IPL title, thus becoming the joint-most successful team in the history of the cash-rich league. Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket way back in 2020 and has continued to play in the IPL. There have been rumors that this season was the last time we had seen the iconic keeper-batter in the yellow colors of CSK. Now, CSK has posted a cryptic video on Twitter on MS Dhoni that has further strengthened the murmurs related to his retirement.

In the video posted by CSK, MS Dhoni can be running up the staircase of Chepauk to the dressing room. During this run-up to the top, the video has been superimposed with images from the triumphant IPL 2023 season featuring Dhoni. The post was captioned, 'O Captain, My Captain,' referring to a famous dialogue in the movie 'Dead Poets Society.'
